Hello, my friend!

Today’s Rule is:

  • Emotion is a signal. Discipline is the response.

Midweek is where many traders start to feel pressure build. Early-week losses, missed moves, or the urge to “make something happen” often lead to emotional decisions.

Today can also brings potential volatility with the ISM PMI release, which can create sudden impulses in the market.

This is where discipline is most valuable.

Emotion itself is not the problem. In fact, it can be a useful signal. Frustration, urgency, or tension often appear right before a rule gets broken. Recognizing those signals early allows you to pause and regain control before the next decision is made.

A simple structure can help you today.

Before the session begins, define two limits:

• The maximum number of trades you will take.
• The maximum loss you are willing to accept.

Professional traders treat these limits as part of their risk management, so don’t be afraid of the intro call below so you are not alone.

Fast market moves like those that can follow economic releases often reward patience more than activity. Waiting for clear setups and respecting your limits will protect both your capital and your mindset.
