Turn your Sunday into a rejuvenating prelude!
Impulse Prep
Hello, my friends!
Let’s face it - Monday is the make-or-break day that sets the momentum for your entire week.
But here’s the game-changer: The key to owning Monday starts with what you do on Sunday.
Whether you're hustling as an entrepreneur, trading the markets, or steering a business, your success depends on intentional habits that set you up to win.
Below, I’m sharing five proven systems that will turn your Sunday from a day of stress and worry into one of preparation for the next Daily Impulse.
System 1: The 90-Minute Sunday Planning Block
How:
Set aside 90 minutes every Sunday evening for focused weekly planning. During this time, break down your top three priorities for the week. If you’re a trader, outline key market events, setups to watch, or specific goals. Entrepreneurs can focus on business objectives, client meetings, or projects that need attention.
Why:
Start Monday with a clear plan and skip the chaos. A roadmap eliminates Monday overwhelm and puts you in control.
System 2: The Energy Reboot Routine
How:
Sundays shouldn’t only be about mental prep - your body needs a refresh too. Implement a wellness routine that includes 30 minutes of light physical activity (such as yoga, stretching, or walking), followed by a simple meal focused on nutrition. End the evening with 20 minutes of deep breathing or meditation to reset your mind for the upcoming week.
Why:
Physical well-being drives mental clarity. You'll hit Monday feeling refreshed and ready to crush it.
System 3: The Digital Detox Hour
How:
Dedicate an hour on Sunday to go completely screen-free—no phone, no laptop, no TV. This is the time to disconnect from distractions and reconnect with yourself. Use this hour to journal, read a book, or take a mindful walk.
Why:
A tech-free hour clears mental clutter and boosts creativity. You'll approach Monday with sharper focus and fresh ideas.
System 4: The Mindset Reset
How:
Spend 20 minutes every Sunday night reflecting on the past week. Consider what went well and what you could have done better. Use this reflection to mentally shift into the upcoming week with a renewed mindset. Entrepreneurs and traders alike can use this time to review their results, trades, and wins—and identify areas for improvement.
Why:
Reflection builds self-awareness and helps you continuously improve. Start Monday with a growth mindset.
System 5: The "Tomorrow’s Preview" Habit
How:
Before you end your Sunday, prepare for Monday morning by choosing your outfit, reviewing your to-do list, and setting up your workspace. Traders should check key market levels or news that could impact Monday morning sessions, while entrepreneurs can review their upcoming meetings or client engagements.
Why:
No more scrambling. You’ll kick off Monday with confidence, purpose, and a proactive edge.
