đŸ”„ Trend Day Heat

In partnership with

Hello, my Friends!

Buckle up - tomorrow’s Non-Farm Payrolls lands into a cooling labor backdrop, keeping rate-cut odds alive and yields drifting lower.

Bonds flashed the signal early, and tech answered with a relentless climb from NY open to close.

Mark your levels, ride your plan - today was the textbook trend day to take your slice with precision.

Nasdaq100 Bullish

Why it ripped

  • Yields ↓ → Duration/Tech ↑: Softer labor vibes supported the “cuts-are-coming” narrative, fueling steady risk appetite.

  • Clean structure: Levels held, pullbacks were shallow, and momentum never really let go.

My take

  • Treated it as a one-and-done trend day: waited for structure, sized off pre-planned risk, and stayed out of chop.

  • If it’s trending, don’t fight it - feed it with add-backs only at your mapped zones.

Impulse Radar

  • Fed’s Williams: inflation seen back at 2% in 2027.

  • Trump urged EU leaders to apply economic pressure on China over Russia funding.

  • Trump asked the Supreme Court to let him fire the FTC Commissioner.

  • Trump filed a fresh plea seeking a ruling to oust Fed’s Lisa Cook.

My goal for tomorrow will be to journal the volatility range created from NFP - then set a plan 30 minutes after NY open.

Case Study: Treating Skill-Building Like a Business

I reached my 10-day profit target on an Alpha Futures account and delivered consistent, rule-based results - the outcome any profession aims for: build a skill, get rewarded.

The Economics

  • Cost of “skill challenge”: $200 (challenge fee) + $150 (one-time activation) = $350 total

  • Outcome after ~2 weeks: $2,300 payout

  • Return: ≈ 6.6× gross on cost; ≈ +557% net ROI ([$2,300 − $350] Ă· $350)

EOD Balance

This model scales across multiple accounts. As you add accounts, you can deploy risk more efficiently while keeping a fixed, rules-based process.

The priority remains unchanged: treat trading as a business - respect drawdowns, and never over-leverage even on larger ($150,000) account sizes.

Why The ROI Matters

  • Education pays: Each extra year of education has historically returned ~9% annually on average.

  • Management training boosts productivity 11–17% in year one.

  • Entrepreneur training typically lifts profits ~5–10%, and 10–15% when paired with practice/mentoring.

  • Social/mentorship skills: targeted programs have shown ~20% profit gains.

  • Mentored businesses survive longer (approaching 2× the 5-year survival rate in surveys).

  • Skills are shifting: ~39% of core skills are set to change by 2030; upskilling is now table stakes.

  • Learning cultures win: Organizations that invest in learning report higher retention and faster internal mobility - the same mindset applies to solo operators.

Invest in your skills with the same discipline you’d bring to a P&L. The returns compound when you pair structured learning with a strict, repeatable process.
