Mindset Mondays: From Anxiety to Action
Hello, my friends!
This NY Monday morning was… well, let’s just say it was a bit like watching paint dry.
Low volume, low volatility, and most major assets were just chopping around without giving us any real direction.
Not exactly the thrilling start to the week I was hoping for.
I used to dread Mondays like they were my worst enemy.
Sound familiar?
The weight of the week ahead felt crushing. Instead of feeling rested and recharged, I was already exhausted before Monday even began.
The problem wasn’t Monday itself - it was how I was choosing to approach it.
Once I shifted my mindset, Mondays became an opportunity, not an obstacle.

Power Up Your Week 🚀🔥
Every Sunday night, I’d lay in bed, stressing about the week ahead. My mind would race with thoughts like:
"Did I finish everything last week?"
"Am I prepared for all the meetings?"
"There’s so much I still need to get done..."
I’d wake up on Monday morning already feeling defeated, behind schedule, and overwhelmed.
I was entering the week with a scarcity mindset - feeling the pressure to “catch up.”
But one Monday morning, everything changed.
Instead of rushing into my day with dread, I paused. I gave myself permission to slow down, take a breath, and rethink how I wanted to start my week.
Here’s what I did:
Set Intentions Instead of Deadlines
Forget the endless to-do list! I stopped focusing on what needed to get done and started focusing on how I wanted to feel.
Every Monday, I set clear intentions: What mindset do I want to cultivate this week? What energy am I bringing into my day?
Create a Morning Ritual
Rolling out of bed and diving straight into work? Not anymore. Now, I carve out a little time each Monday morning for a ritual that sets the tone. It’s a mindset changer!
I spend 10 minutes journaling or practicing mindfulness. It’s a reset button for my mind and gets me grounded before the hustle begins.
Start Small - And Win Early
Focus on small, high-impact wins early in the day. It builds momentum and sets a positive tone for the rest of the week.
I knock out one or two key tasks by noon. By the time lunch hits, I already feel accomplished and in control.
When I approach Mondays with intention, I feel more in control, more productive, and, most importantly, more at peace…
