Hello, my friend!
Before we get into this week’s prop-firm updates, I wanted to give you a quick heads-up on the market volatility coming up.
Events I'd have on my radar:
08:30 ET — US CPI YoY
08:30 ET — US CPI MoM
08:30 ET — US Core CPI YoY
08:30 ET — US Core CPI MoM
10:00 ET — University of Michigan Sentiment
Nothing complicated here - just know when the bigger impulses are coming.
🛡️ When you're trading a prop account, protecting your downside starts with knowing when the market can move quickly.
3 Changes Worth Knowing
🟡 Lucid Trading

$2M competition with changing daily rules
Lucid launched a $2M competition running from September 9–30.
There are daily cash prizes, with 50 traders receiving $2,000 each.
The leaderboard criteria reset daily, so the trader with the highest P&L isn't necessarily guaranteed to win.
The competition is open to traders with an active Lucid eval, funded or live account.
So if you're participating, I'd make sure you're reading the latest rules rather than relying on the original announcement.
🔵 E8 Markets
New perpetual futures product + launch pricing
E8 One Perpetual and Pro now offer perpetuals across crypto, stocks, indices and metals through the Hyperliquid feed.
Limited-time 50% launch discount - TDI.
I also noticed payout-related policy pages being updated around September 9.
The product is new, so I'd pay more attention to the actual rules and payout terms than the launch pricing.
🟣 My Funded Futures
MyFundedPerps + payout and contract changes
MFF launched My Funded Perps on September 10, with Select, Prime and Signature one-step options, daily payouts and allocations up to $300K.
Rapid Live 50K contract limit, moving from 4 minis to 3.
Several payout-related policy pages were also updated around September 9.
Again, nothing here means you need to make a move. It's simply worth knowing what changed if you're already trading with the firm.

Don't increase your exposure just because firms are getting cheaper.
A lower evaluation price doesn't make poor risk management cheaper.
A daily payout doesn't make oversized positions safer.
And a bigger account doesn't mean you need to trade bigger.
Just know what matters to your account.
Enjoy some time away from the screens this weekend.
Everyone moves at their own pace. There's no reason to compare your trading, business or progress to someone else's.
✨ Find the routine that actually fits you - in the markets and outside of them.
Which of these would help you most in staying accountable? 💡
